Understanding Your Bill

1st Bill

  • It Goes out approximately 60 days of water usage (2-month billing) or 30 days of water usage (1-month billing)
  • Due on the 15th of every other month

As long as your bill is paid within the month of your due date, you will not be charged a late fee.

  • Beginning Balance is your balance from last billing cycle
  • If you've made a payment before bills were printed than your payment would reflect on the payment slot
  • Adjustment reflects late fee
  • Fac Chg: facility charge, which is the basic fee we charge for having service
  • Cons Chg: Consumption charge

2nd Notice -Reminder Notice

  • Mailed after 27 days from the first billing
  • You receive this bill if your bill has yet to be paid or arrangements to pay were not made.

3rd Notice -  Disconnection Notice

  • Mailed after 42 days from the First billing
  • You receive this bill if the bill has yet to be paid or arrangements to pay are not met.
  • $10 late fee 
  • Bill must be paid by the due date in order to avoid disconnection

Final Bill

  • You receive this bill once stop service

Process of Disconnection

  • We will turn off and lock (padlock, zip-tie) service, read the meter, and hang door hangers that notify the customer of why their water was disconnected and a listing of amounts due. Past Due and Fees must be paid in full in order to reconnect your service.
    • Total Amount Due:
      • Outstanding Balance
      • Plus $10.00 Delinquent Notification Fee 
      • Plus $25.00 Delinquent Account Trip Fee
      • Plus $20.00 Deposit 

If turned back on without authorization, we will read and remove the meter and hang a door hanger that notifies the customer of why the water was disconnected and a listing of the amounts due. (Plus, other fees, if necessary, see Fee Schedule)

    • Plus $ 20.00 Deposit 
    • Plus $ 35.00 Removed Meter Fee

Fee Schedule

  1. Deposit: $ 20.00
  2. Delinquent Account Trip Fee $ 25.00
  3. Delinquent Notification Fee $ 10.00 
  4. After Hours Service Call Fee $ 50.00 (if necessary)
  5. Damaged Padlock Replacement $ 12.50 (if necessary)
  6. Removed Meter Fee $ 35.00 (if necessary)
